Lessons and programs to help you and your kids feel connected to each other, the community, and the whole world—coming to the Octorara Area Fall 2023!
Homeschool Travel Choir
In collaboration with LEAP: Learning Enrichment Arts Program
Ages: Grade 2 and up.
This multi-age group meets together to prepare choral pieces for performance in the wider community. This is our first year offering this class. Songs will be introduced and taught by rote and by reading. (The ability to read will be helpful for students in this class.) Performances such as Kitchen Kettle, Capitol Rotunda, Local Christmas Tree Lighting, Churches in Chester or Lancaster County, TBD. $40/month (or $20/month as a package add-on)

Homeschool Music Unit Studies
Ages 8-12 and 10-14: Add music history, appreciation, and culture to your homeschool program! Each class will be 45 minutes and consist of interactive discussion, video and audio samples, and hands on experiences. There will also be optional project based learning assignments to complete at home for each unit.
Ages 8-12 will focus on world music, exploring the culture and history of Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, Oceania, and North America.
Ages 10-14 will study musical theater, starting with the Jazz Age and wrapping up with the musical theatre of today.
Where: Zimmerman Meeting Room, Atglen Public Library
Day & Time: Thursdays 2:30pm (ages 8-12) and 3:15pm (ages 10-14)

Mini-MusicMakers Project
Ages 3-5: Imagine a space for your little one's creativity to soar, where noise is made into music, and ideas come together to make a story of songs, movement and play! Join the Mini-MusicMaker Project each week for new themes that will keep your preschooler’s curiosity engaged and their musical brain active. Space is limited, so please included eveyone who will be attending in your party. Yes, adults, even you!
Where: Radcliff Music Studio at Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365
Day & Time: Tuesdays from 1:30-2:00pm
Dates: Starting October 3, 2023
Tuition: $20/month.
Itty-Bitty Beats
Ages 0-2
Parents and little join in the fun! Miss Ashley will encourage listening, language development, social growth, and more on this musical journey!
